Already have an account? Here's the fastest path from a fresh install to your first shared listen: import a book, press play, and join a Guild — about 5 min total.
Import a book (about 1 min)
Open your Library tab and tap Import Your First Audiobook, then choose an audiobook file from your device. Squabble adds it to your library once the import finishes. See Importing Books for supported formats, or connect an Audiobookshelf server instead if you keep your audiobooks on a self-hosted library.
Press play (about 1 min)
Tap the book in your Library to open its details, then tap Play. Playback opens in the full player, with chapters, a Sleep Timer, and speed control all one tap away. Leave a timestamp comment whenever something's worth flagging — it stays hidden from guildmates until they catch up to that point.
Join or start a Guild (about 2-3 min)
Head to the Guild tab. If a friend already sent you a 6-character invite code, tap Join a Guild and enter it. Starting fresh instead? Tap Forge a Guild, name it, and tap Create — Squabble generates an invite code you can share right away. Either path is covered step by step in the onboarding tour.
You're set
That's the whole loop: a book in your library, playback underway, and a Guild to share it with. From here, your comments start unlocking for guildmates as they reach the same point in the book, and the Quest Board keeps everyone's progress in view.
